What Do We Want?

Worcester City Art Gallery & Museum

22 September – 24 November 2018

This exhibition explores ordinary people's voices against a world of corporate and political messages.

Mark Titchner, We Want Responsibility To Be Shared By All, 2003

In recent years, fast-paced news sharing and populist vote winners have left us with frustrations about our own ability to be heard.

Using the museum's historic collection of satire and political prints alongside works by contemporary British artists Gillian Wearing and Mark Titchner, this exhibition explores ordinary people's voices against a world of corporate and political messages.

This exhibition is supported by the Weston Loan Programme with Art Fund.
