A showcase of innovative work by both emerging and established artists from a unique collection of British Modern and Contemporary art.
The Ingram Collection began buying work by new talent to help artists at the beginning of their careers. This exhibition presents boundary-pushing sculpture, painting, film and installation and highlights winners of the Young Contemporary Talent Purchase Prize Exhibition, open to recent graduates since 2016.
Works include Interview (Prototype), Harrison Pearce’s kinetic sculpture and sound installation which shifts unpredictably between mechanical and bodily behaviour, Victoria Sin’s Part Three / Cthulhu Through the Looking Glass, a four-minute video exploring femininity, desire and objectification, and large-scale dystopian paintings by Steven Ingman.
