Portsmouth City Museum celebrates the Royal Academy's 250th anniversary with an exhibition of Academicians' work.

To celebrate the RA’s anniversary, over 80 prints and sculptures will be exhibited at the Museum, including several that have not been on display for many years.

Featured artists include David Hockney, Gertrude Hermes, Eduardo Paolozzi and Lynn Chadwick. All works are from the permanent collection.

This exhibition is part of RA250, supported by Art Fund.

Opening times

Tuesday to Sunday (plus Bank Holiday Mondays), 10am to 5.30pm. Last admission 4pm.

To ensure safety face coverings are mandatory and there are sanitising stations throughout the building for customer use. There is a new one way route round the building and the 2nd floor galleries remain closed.
