Astonishing self portraits from some of the world's most celebrated artists arrive at Rugby.

Exploring the theme of Portraits, the gallery will display artists' self portraits alongside their own work from the Rugby Collection, bringing the artist from behind the canvas and making them the subject.

Among the artists featured are Lucian Freud, Edward Bawden, Eduardo Paolozzi and LS Lowry.

Running alongside the exhibition there will be a number of talks and workshops including a Q&A with the Turner prize-winning Lubaina Himid and Claudette Johnson, portrait masterclass workshops and a series of lectures exploring the artistic context and evolution of portraiture.

This exhibition is supported by the Weston Loan Programme with Art Fund
