The London-based Dutch artist presents her first major institutional solo exhibition in London.

Magali Reus is fascinated by the significance of everyday objects, and in this exhibition she explores the tension between the harsh machinery of manufacture and the delicate perseverance of handiwork.

Her sculptures, which were created especially to be experienced within the South London Gallery's main space, comprise a number of bold architectural interventions, fixed together through complex casting, moulding and weaving techniques.
