This exhibition brings together works by Johan Grimonprez inspired by Alfred Hitchcock.

The Belgian multimedia artist’s fascination with lookalikes and doubles led him to explore Hitchcock's cameo appearances in his own films by working with real-life Hitchcock impersonators (Looking for Alfred (2005) and Hitchcock’s Castings, London, June (2005)).

In Hitchcock didn’t have a Bellybutton (2009), he also investigates one of the many internet rumours surrounding the famous director. Through a variety of media including film, audio and text, he explores a question Hitchcock himself had asked: ‘Who is the real Alfred Hitchcock?’
