This exhibition has now closed, find out what else is going on at National Maritime Museum

Created in collaboration with NASA, the exhibition explores the wonders of aerospace.

Starting with the first great visionaries and spanning to the innovators of today, this participatory exhibition explores the science, design and technology that makes air and space travel possible.

Included among the immersive simulations and interactive design challenges is the 'elevator to space', that allows visitors to enjoy views looking down on the earth, while the 'marathon to mars' tests how their body would cope on a long-haul trip to the red planet.

The display also looks ahead to the future of space travel, illuminating the full realm of exciting possibilities that might be in store.
