Exploring the incredible impact that movie-licensing had on the toy-making industry.

Bringing together vintage classics with contemporary favourites, the film-inspired memoribillia on display chronicles the last 100 years of movie toy production. As well as iconic early 20th-century celebrity dolls – including Charlie Chaplin and Shirley Temple – there is a rare 1930s representation of Donald Duck, a collection of vintage James Bond toys and the Superman costume that was worn by Christopher Reeve.

A special interactive room includes a dressing up and photo zone.
