Celebrating the talent of over 100 female comic artists from across the world.

This exhibition aims to debunk the myth that comic art is largely a man's game. Bringing together animations by more than 100 women working between the 1800s and the present day, it demonstrates that female artists have played a crucial role in the evolution of the medium.

From observational comedy to surreal fantasy, examples on display were created for newspapers zines, webcomics and graphic novels. Not only do they highlight the key work of British female comic artists, but also their international counterparts who have played a key role in the development of the British comics scene.
