The first large scale exhibition of the late filmmaker's installation work in the UK.

Chantal Akerman is celebrated as one of the most radical and pioneering filmmakers of her generation. This exhibition was planned before her sudden death on 5 October but – featuring seven video installations – it pays tribute to her bold creative vision.

Akerman used film to explore the complexity of human existence; the works on diplsay here hit on important issues such as racism in the American South, terrorism in the Middle East, the atom bomb and Hiroshima and the Eastern bloc countries before the fall of Communism.
