Masterminded by Karl Lagerfield and his team, this show celebrates the creativity of the iconic Chanel fashion house.

Two words are posted on the door of Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel's workshop at rue Cambon: Mademoiselle Privé. Since it was founded in 1918, this intimate space has seen the creation of a legendary fashion collection.

During October a selection of the most exciting items from the Parisian studio go on display in London as part of a sprawling show spanning three floors of the Saatchi Gallery.Included are dynamic designs of Haute Couture, re-editions of the High Jewellery Bijoux de Diamants collection that was created by Gabrielle Chanel in 1932 and exhibits detailing the story of the Chanel No 5 perfume.

The show aims to highlight the three guiding principles that have been key to the brand's success: audacity, freedom and innovation – evident right from Gabrielle Chanel’s early creations through to Karl Lagerfeld’s contemporary take on established codes, symbols and icons.
