Regularly cited as the most important painter alive today.

Richter's ongoing investigation into the process of painting started over 50 years ago. He has mastered a variety of painterly techniques, often using photography as a starting point. As such, Richter is an artist capable of changing the way that we think about painting.

This exhibition examines the breadth and depth of his practice, focusing on the three broad areas of activity in his work: figurative, constructive and abstract.
