Exploring how the events of global conflicts have affected Bristol and its people over the past 100 years.

Original objects and archival material are used to examine how local lives have been altered physically, socially and personally by the turmoil of war. The exhibition spans from Bristol in the early 1900s and its position in the British Empire, through 1914–1918, to contemporary life in the city, and the impact of current global conflicts.
