How contemporary artists have reinvented figurative sculpture during the past 25 years

The many different ways artists choose to represent the human figure is telling. Examples by Huma Bhabha, Katharina Fritsch, Ryan Gander, Jeff Koons, Yinka Shonibare, Thomas Schütte and Paloma Varga Weisz, among others, reveal how it has been used in sculpture to address issues of violence, mortality, sexuality and voyeurism.

The exhibition also pays due to historical practice, looking at how contemporary examples compare and contrast with former artistic traditions.
