The results of a two-year project - funded by the Art Fund’s RENEW scheme - to build a collection of works inspired by Dundee's first Professor of Biology.

D’Arcy’s book On Growth and Form influenced some of the most important artists of the 20th century, such as Henry Moore, Victor Pasmore, William Turnbull and Wilhelmina Barns-Graham - all of whom are included in the University's new collection. Contemporary works by the likes of Will Maclean, Andy Lomas and Marion Smith, prove his influence still holds today.

The exhibition ranges from paintings and prints to sculpture and computer art, as well as specially commissioned pieces created in response to the D’Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum.
