Continuing the tour of Mapplethorpe's photographs, Tate Modern is showing a selection of his works.

Robert Mapplethorpe's works are by turns beautiful, aspirational and salacious. The images on display have been selected to reveal the controversial photographer's understanding of form and light.

Radical in both its technique and its subjects, Mapplethorpe's art ranged from classical still lifes to visual exposés of sexual counterculture. This exhibition will feature a selection of the 64 black-and-white photographs by Mapplethorpe in the Artist Rooms collection.
