The London-based artist presents a new series of sculptural works that he created in response to the gallery space at Camden Arts Centre.

Lai's commission explores ideas that run through other recent works, such as spatial experience, situation and encounter.

One such example is Co-presence, where swathes of jute fabric have been hung over a suspended rope line. Intermixed within the structure are musical cymbals, which provide potential for noise, disobedience and play.
