An exploration of painting in Britain today, presenting the recent work of 21 living artists whose practices span six decades.

The display highlights a range of issues that are of significance to contemporary painting. Included are works that have been created by dripping paint, applying it ultra-densely or beginning with a single dot. Others utilise ornamental mirrors, tin foil, sculpture, photography or collage, while some have been created through acts of destruction.
