One of the leading figures of the young British artists in the mid-nineties, Sarah Lucas is now a veritable treasure.

Sarah Lucas came to prominence as one of the yBas, in the early nineties, a group of recent Goldsmiths graduates who dominated the British art scene with their raw, edgy art that focused on Duchampian wordplay and conceptual games.

In 1993 Lucas rented a shop with Tracey Emin selling art paraphernalia, and as a result her art has never lost that ephemeral nature. This exhibition features old work re-made, from fried eggs to kebabs together with new commissions.
