If I Was To Draw A Line, This Journey Started Approximately 400km North Of The Equator

South London Gallery

20 September – 1 December 2013

The Colombian-born London-based artist explores the contradictions and complexities that exist across socioeconomic, racial and cultural boundaries.

Oscar Murillo empties his studio to present its contents in the main gallery space.

From stitched canvases, drawings, sculptures and films, to tables constructed from copper sheets that were used as flooring in previous shows and masses of pulped biro drawings, Murilli takes varying aspects of studio matter to create an entirely new form.

Don't miss

Play on the Murillo lottery with individually screen-printed artist-signed tickets, on sale as part of the exhibition. First, second and third prizes have each been devised by Murillo and will be revealed at the draw on 18 October.
