Architectural drawings reflect the distinctive and historical cityscapes of Berlin and St Petersburg.

In the first of a series of collaborations, Sir John Soane’s Museum (the first museum of architecture in the world) is showing a selection of the highlights from the newest architectural museum in Europe - Berlin’s Tchoban Foundation, Museum für Architekturzeichnung.

The exhibition will focus on works by architects rarely seen in British collections, mainly by German and Russian draughtsmen, emphasising the strong cultural and historical links between these two countries. The drawings, which form part of the collection of the Berlin-based Russian Architect Sergei Tchoban, range in date from the late 16th century to modernist work.
