Sebastiao Salgado’s long-awaited ‘Genesis’ project, eight years in the making and encompassing 32 countries, is finally unveiled.

Salgado is best known for his humanitarian photojournalism and received worldwide acclaim for his series ‘Workers’ (1993) and ‘Migrations and Portraits’ (2000). For this latest documentary series, Salgado has switched his focus to the natural world and the societies that have what he terms ‘real links to nature’.

There are more than 200 rich tonal black-and-white photographs in the show, portraying scenes taken in 32 countries including Rwanda, Alaska and the Falkland islands.
