This exhibition has now closed, find out what else is going on at Waddesdon

Bruce Munro has produced a major light installation inspired by Rautavaara's concerto for 'birds and orchestra' Cantus Arcticus.

Bruce Munro's most recent installation for Waddesdon is inspired by the shimmering of the Northern Lights and the Einojuhani Rautavaara composition Cantus Arcticus.

Echoing the composer’s use of recorded birdsong, the installation is composed of 15 simplified bird forms made from floor-to-ceiling curtains of fibre-optic light. The lights will change colour in response to Rautavaara's music, which will be playing in the space.

Munro is also planning a series of 6 site-specific installations for the gardens at Waddesdon for Winter 2013.
