Delve into some of history's most decadent furniture at this exhibition of magnificent cabinets, and see secret interiors that would once have been reserved for privileged visitors.

Bringing together pieces from the V&A, Corsham Court, and the Holburne Museum's own collection, this splendid show brings together a range of cabinets crafted from rare and exotic materials.

Cabinets on stands were among the great status symbols of the seventeenth century's elites. For the first time, they will be displayed fully open, allowing visitors to see the elaborate interiors which would once have been displayed to a select few.
