This exhibition gives a much-needed window into the life of the outstanding 18th-century Croatian polymath Roger Joseph Boscovich.

Famous in the scientific community for forming the rudiments of an atomic theory centuries before the current model was established, he is widely renowned on the continent for saving the dome of St Peter's in Vatican City when structural problems threatened its stability and for founding the famous Brera Observatory in Milan.Various letters and manuscripts will be on show to the public for the first time in this exhibition, curated by Dr Ivica Martinovic, that aims to raise British awareness of this major figure.
