This exhibition is taken from a major collection of 177 modern prints, recently placed on long-term loan to ARTIST ROOMS by Anthony d'Offay. These prints were produced from the original plates by August Sander's grandson Gerd Sander who himself is recognised internationally as a photographer and master printer. Together the photograph collection creates an extensive resource, offering audiences an overview of Sander's achievements as an artist, photographer and recorder of history.
