This exhibition has now closed, find out what else is going on at Manchester Art Gallery

Mexican-Canadian electronic artist Rafael Lozano-Hemmer has created a series of artworks that see, hear and feel the actions of people around them.

The result is a playful and uniquely interactive series of installations whose functioning relies entirely on the visitors to the Gallery. Pieces include Pulse Room, which takes the heartbeats of viewers and turns them into a visual symphony, played out by a hundred lightbulbs.
