Join us for a special event over tea and cake with Rana Ibrahim, the curator of Of Ordinary Things and founder of the Iraqi Women Art & War project. Rana will give a tour of the exhibition and there will be plenty of opportunity for informal, honest conversations about her work, the IWAW project and the exhibition. We will talk about art and its role in healing from trauma and difficult experiences; the war in Iraq and its impact on ordinary citizens; Iraqi women's lives in Oxfordshire today; and what healing and home mean to us.
