Look for fossils at Creeksea.

Creeksea Cliff is a fossiliferous stretch of riverbed of the River Crouch which is exposed at low tides. The finds date back to the Eocene period, with the site yielding numerous shark, ray and fish teeth, coprolites and several types of pyrite fossils.
