Choose from a selection of snacks and refreshments to pre-order before one of our outdoor theatre events! Collect from The Scullery in the courtyard.

Over the summer, Chawton House is hosting several outdoor theatre productions on the South Lawn with Macbeth on Thursday 15 July, The Importance of Being Earnest on Saturday 31 July and Emma on Friday 13 August.

The Old Kitchen Tearoom will be operating a takeaway service from the Scullery in the Courtyard.

Pre-order a delicious Ploughman's picnic box made up of Gammon ham, cheddar cheese, chutney, side salad, roll with butter.

We will also be serving the following on the night:

  • Pretzels £2
  • Olives £2
  • Crisps £1.50
  • Gin cocktail £4.50
  • Mocktail £2.50

Pre-ordering a Ploughman's picnic is available until midnight the night before the performance.
