Make your own teapot in this ceramics class with Muddy Fingers Pottery.

All materials, equipment and firings are provided (as a Covid precaution, no equipment will be shared). You'll make a two-cup teapot of your own design .

Learn how to decorate and assemble the various parts of your teapot. Teapots will be taken back to Muddy Fingers Pottery to be fired and glazed in a glaze of your choice. They'll be returned to the Shipley Art Gallery around three weeks later for you to collect.

Our staff will greet you at a distance. Some may be wearing facemasks or visors (this is their choice and not compulsory under government guidance) and we have new screens at our till points.

Hand sanitiser stations

Some areas of the gallery remain closed (Henry Rothschild Study Centre, the lounge and workshop) until it is safe to reopen

Tickets are not required for entry however we are admitting less people in the gallery. If the building is at full capacity you may be asked to wait until visitor numbers have reduced to a safe level.
