Highland storyteller Roddy Maclean introduces the Gaelic names of plants from crofts and woodlands nearby, complementing Cindie Reiter's exhibition.

Complementing the exhibition from local artist Cindie Reiter attendees will learn Gaelic names, uses and traditions connected to native plants that grow in our villages and woods.

The presentation will be delivered on Zoom with accompanying images and a handout sent in advance which will contain the Gaelic and English plant names.

When we re-open on Tuesday 27 April 2021, we'll be limiting our visitor numbers and operating a one-way system to help ensure good physical distancing within the museum.

We advise visitors to pre-book to guarantee entry but we will do our best to accommodate walk-ins.

Hand sanitiser dispensers have been installed throughout the building and staff will be regularly cleaning and disinfecting door handles, bannisters, lift buttons, surfaces and toilets. Please wear a face covering during your visit to Gairloch Museum.
