This event has now passed, find out what else is going on at Waddesdon

Join Pippa Shirley, Head of Collections and Gardens at Waddesdon, for a talk exploring the history of the Rothschild family, their creation of the house and its collections.

Four generations of the Rothschilds have been involved in creating and caring for Waddesdon, while the wider European family have been active collectors and philanthropists in Israel and elsewhere for over 200 years.

The tour will include a look at the most recent new display, A Rothschild Treasury, which celebrates the magnificence of the Kunstkammer and the family’s passion for collecting.

A unique link to join the zoom online talk will be emailed 24 hours before the event.
