Write stories inspired by Alfred Cohen's New Horizons.

Join Norfolk Storyteller and children’s author, Isabelle King to explore the stunning landscapes of Alfred Cohen and create stories inspired by the paintings.

Isabelle will guide you through exercises to get the creative juices flowing. At the end of the workshop you will have created a setting, character and the start of your own amazing story.

Isabelle King is the author of many children's books including Once Upon A Street: Norfolk Stories for Children. Isabelle has toured schools as part of the Norfolk and Norwich Festival with her creative writing workshops and has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Eastern Daily Press People’s Choice Awards.

Alfred Cohen (1920-2001) was an Amercian artist who who moved to Kent and later to Norfolk in the mid-1960s, specialising in painting the British landscape and the Channel's coasts, interiors, people, and flowers.

This online event will be held on Zoom. The Zoom invitation will be sent to your email on the day of the event.

Suitable for all abilities and for ages 16-25.
