In this two day workshop you will learn how to make a robust functional basket from summer mown hay, bramble and other natural materials, all grown and harvested locally. Coiled basketry is a slow, meditative stitch-based basketry technique. Low tech, versatile and transferable to a wide range of plant materials, the technique is easy to master. This workshop may not be suitable for grass allergy and hay fever sufferers due to materials used.
