Join senior curator of natural history, Dr David Waterhouse to find out how to dig up a Tyrannosaurus!
During the summer of 2003 senior curator of natural history & geology at Norfolk Museums Service, Dr David Waterhouse travelled to Montana to take part in a Tyrannosaurus excavation. From the time just before dinosaurs became extinct, Thomas the T. rex turned out to be the latest ever found, and David is the only Brit ever to have been part of a Tyrannosaurus dig. Discover how this huge fossil was excavated and preserved, and find out first-hand about David’s incredible trip to the mid-west of America.
David will also answer any questions from budding paleontologists about dinosaurs and fossils. The event will be via Zoom Webinar.
