This event has now passed, find out what else is going on at Lynn Museum

Lynn Museum are excited to be bringing a new family event online this August, all about dinosaurs!

During the summer of 2003 senior curator of natural history & geology at Norfolk Museums Service, Dr David Waterhouse, travelled to Montana to take part in a Tyrannosaurus excavation. David is the only brit ever to have been part of a Tyrannosaurus dig. Discover how this huge fossil was excavated and preserved and find out first-hand about David’s incredible trip to the mid-west of America.

The event will also feature a question and answer session, so bring along all the questions that you ever wanted to ask about dinosaurs and fossils!

This event is free to attend, but booking is essential. The event will run on Zoom. For more information, email lynn.museum@norfolk.gov.uk.
