Join artist Rachel McGivern this February half term for hands-on art workshops that are lemon bright.
In the Dining Room of the Kettle’s Yard House sits a single fresh lemon on a pewter serving dish, echoing the yellow dot in Joan Miró’s ‘Tic Tic’ which hangs nearby.
Taking the Kettle’s Yard lemon as inspiration, we will add some lemon zest to your day! Taking inspiration from the lemon on the pewter plate you will be able to develop your own game – constructing sculptures to act as obstacles and designing posters and scoreboards.
The session will focus on an exploration of materials, enjoying taking a playful approach, with a potential for collaboration.
£12 per child, booking required.
