This event has now passed, find out what else is going on at Heath Robinson Museum

The talk will seek to set Heath Robinson's Watercolours in the context of trends in British watercolour painting of the time.

To tie in with the current exhibition of William Heath Robinson's watercolours, which he never exhibited, watercolour expert Timothy Wilcox will review the works against a background of what was being exhibited by a wide range of artists between 1890 and 1940.

Comparators will include the Hague school and J M Whistler, Frank Brangwyn, Lee Hankey, Charles Sims, William Ratcliffe, Arthur Melville and James Paterson.

A glass of wine will be served and there will be opportunities to view the exhibition before and after the talk.
