How many apps do you have on your phone or tablet?
Loads, I bet! They are the life blood of many of gadgets we own.
This workshop will show children (10-13 years old) the basics in how to design apps. Maybe it is something they would like to do in the future?
We will introduce the fundamentals of design thinking so that children can learn to empathise with the needs of app users and design apps that serve a real purpose in the community.
Learn how to think about the app user, sketch some app screens and test your ideas on each other.
There is no coding and no previous experience is necessary.
The emphasis is on using pens and paper and having fun.
Anne Stevens will be running the session, she is Head of UX Research and Content for Just Eat.
This session is aimed at 10-13 year olds. It will last up to 2.5 hours
