Do you want to know how climate change is affecting our planet?

Our talk will cover the fundamentals of climate change and provide information on the science, risks and impacts of climate change on humans and other species globally.

We will also talk about the response; key policy commitments by government and key actors, as well as an insight into some of the work by engineers to tackle the challenge.

Regardless of your previous knowledge, we will provide an explanation of what achieving a net zero carbon world means for a range of industries and sectors and the impact we can all have.

Join us for this Amazing Ada talk by Annie Gibbons and her colleagues from Arup.

Just one in a series of talks we are putting on to celebrate Ada Lovelace Day (8th October) and women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).

1st October 7:30-8:30pm, £3 per person

Purchase online or pay in cash at the Museum Welcome Desk

Low cost ticket price as all Amazing Ada speakers are Amazing Volunteers!
