Led by Robert Hulse of the Brunel Museum, this guided boat trip from Embankment to Masthouse Terrace Pier goes under three Brunel bridges to reach the launch ramps of Brunel’s last great ship, the SS Great Eastern. This is followed by a riverside walk to Island Gardens, taking in the Isle of Dogs and a Thames view once painted by Canaletto, and concluding with a short train ride through Brunel’s Thames Tunnel to visit the Brunel Museum in Rotherhithe.

Includes Thames boat trip.

A disabled ramp and stairlift is available in the museum; the underground chamber is accessible by the staircase only.

This event has been organised by the London Fundraising Committee Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
