This is an opportunity to be amongst the first to see all the magnificently restored show rooms at Knole, following the completion of one of the National Trust’s biggest ever conservation projects. The house is full of superb paintings, textiles and furniture. The visit includes a private group tour entitled 'Past to Present'.
Attendees will then visit the show rooms and Lord Sackville’s garden at leisure. There is also a chance to see the fascinating conservation studio.
Meet: 8.30am St Catherine’s Park and Ride SO23 9BN for coach, return approx 7pm.
Coffee & Lunch available at the very good Brewhouse cafe (not included), or bring a picnic.
This event has been organised by the Hampshire Fundraising Committee Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
