The 500th centenary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci sees a major initiative by the Royal Collection in sending 144 Leonardo drawings to 12 galleries around the UK. Manchester Art Gallery will be showing its chosen drawings in the context of other relevant material from its own collection. The committee have been fortunate enough to secure a special visit to be conducted by one of the Gallery's most senior and experienced guides, John Ward. This national initiative may never be repeated.

Refreshments will be served in the Atrium of the Gallery before the Tour – other exhibitions are also available to see.

This event has been organised by the Cheshire Fundraising Committee Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
