Following a 45-minute illustrated talk by a member of the Royal Collection Trust, there is time to view ‘Russia: Royalty and the Romanovs’. The exhibition explores the relationships between Britain and Russia and their royal families, from Peter the Great’s visit to London in 1698 through to the abdication of Nicholas II in 1917. Works on display – which range from diplomatic gifts to intimate personal mementos – include portraits, sculpture, photographs, archival documents and miniature Fabergé masterpieces, collectively illustrating the shared patronage of artists and craftsmen originating from both countries.

This event has been organised by the London Fundraising Committee Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
