Spencer House SOLD OUT

Private View | Spencer House

Monday 19 March 2018 - 11:00 until 12:00

Built for John, 1st Earl Spencer between 1756 and 1766, Spencer House was recognised as one of the most ambitious aristocratic town houses ever built in London and a pioneer example of Neoclassical architecture. Following an ambitious restoration programme, including the return of some key pieces of furniture and paintings to the state rooms, the house has been returned as close as possible to its original appearance. This private view offers a chance to explore the only great 18th century private palace in London to survive intact.

This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
