A lecture by Desmond Shawe-Taylor to coincide with the exhibition at the Royal Academy from 27th January - 15th April 2018: Charles I: King and Collector.

Desmond Shawe-Taylor is not only the Surveyor of the Queen's pictures (Charles II: Art and Power is the current exhibition at the Queen's Gallery) but he is also the co curator of Charles I: King and Collector. This is the first collaboration of its kind for the Royal Collection. The group will enjoy a privileged insight into the planning and preparation of the Royal Academy Exhibition.

This event has been organised by the Cheshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
