Jonathan Shearer

Private View | Address on booking

Saturday 10 March 2018 - 14:00 until 19:30

Jonathan studied at Grays School of Art then at Cyprus College of Art, where he gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Painting and Drawing.

Walking and drawing in the Scottish landscape he has developed an intimate knowledge of the wild environment. This gives his work a spontaneity and integrity seldom achieved in the studio.

The event is divided into two parts, starting with a visit to Jonathan's studio near Alness and ending with a private guided view of his solo exhibition at the Castle Gallery, Inverness.

Between the two visits some members of the group may wish to meet for High tea at the Storehouse of Foulis.

This event has been organised by the Highlands Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
