Visit | Trinity House

Monday 12 February 2018 - 15:00 until 16:30

Granted a Royal Charter by Henry VIII in 1514 and initially tasked to preserve the safety of shipping on the Thames and to tend to the education and wellbeing of seafarers, today Trinity House is the General Lighthouse Authority for England, Wales, the Channel Islands and Gibraltar. This visit to its headquarters in Tower Hill explores the elegant Georgian building, designed with the feel of a large private residence, and takes in some of the many artefacts and paintings with which it is decorated.

This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
