Guided Tour of The Charterhouse

Guided Tour | The Charterhouse

Tuesday 12 December 2017 - 14:00 until 16:30

The Charterhouse

Founded in 1371, the Carthusian Monastery was dissolved in 1537 and bought by Thomas Sutton in 1611. Sutton founded an almshouse for 80 Brothers which is still thriving today. The land and buildings are gems of Tudor London and we have arranged a visit with a tour by one of the Brothers.

It is recommended that you visit the Charterhouse Museum in the morning.
